What’s the format of the program?
When you join, you get instant access to all of the training modules, plus your bonuses. So you can start learning today.
Is this course suitable if I only do groundwork with my horse?
Yes. This collection training is very valuable for non-ridden equines, so they can also improve their posture & balance. You can follow all the groundwork lessons in this training and enjoy a horse who does beautiful shoulder out on the ground!
What age does my horse need to be?
As this course include both groundwork & riding lessons, this course is only suitable for horses over 4 years of age. We do not promote riding horses 3 years or age or younger, as their bodies are not fully mature until at least 5.5 years of age - and older than that too.
Is this for English or Western riders?
The course is for both English & Western riders. It doesn't matter the style of your saddle or what type hat you wear :) We welcome cobs, ponies, warmbloods, competition horses, arabs, quarter horses, Spanish horses, coldbloods, drafts, Connemaras and all breeds of horses.
It's winter where I live and it's freezing. Can I start this course now or should I wait?
We get snow here in Ireland in the winter, so I totally understand! For me, I like to use the bad weather in the winter to concentrate more on groundwork & building connection with my horses. That way I can keep working with my horses, even during the winter. And I don't feel bad we've done nothing in months due to hard ground or snow. All of these lessons in this program are designed to be short. Think 10-15 minute sessions. And they can really help your horse.
For me, these exercises are a way to stay connected to my horse over the winter. Then once the spring arrives, we can get back to a lot more riding & fun activities in the fine weather. You also get 4 years access to this program, so once you purchase it you can work through it as slowly or quickly as suits you.
How long does each session with my horse need to be?
We believe in quality, not quantity. And luckily, so do our horses! So if you can spend 1 or 2 fifteen minute sessions with your horse each week - that sounds perfect. Plus with our thoughtfully designed ‘small chunk’ lessons, you’ll always be able to have fun with your horse!
My horse sometimes demonstrates behaviour that is a major safety concern - such as rearing, biting, bucking, bolting, etc. It this course suitable for me?
No, this course does not address or fix major behavioural problems. We would advise you to contact your vet as a lot of these types of issues begin with pain the horse has.
If I purchase now, can I watch the training videos later when I have more time?
Yes. This is a self-paced course. You can do this at your convenience.
How long do I get access to the online program for?
You get unlimited access, 24/7 on all internet devices, for 4 years from the date of purchase or the life-time of this course, whichever is greater.
What technology do you need?
You will need a computer or smartphone/tablet connected to the internet, so you can watch the video modules. You will also need a facebook account to join the online community (optional).
Does this program including 1-1 coaching support?
This program is a self-study program. It includes the online lessons you need to begin shoulder out, and improve your horse's balance & posture. This program does not include coaching support. You can learn more about our other programs at www.greyponyfilms.com
